Living in Wisconsin offers a great choice of native woods. Cherry is a big one when it comes to native wood. Back in the day, farmers moving in brought along walnut trees and got them going. Farther north, birch shows up. Ash, hackberry, ironwood, and mulberry are part of the mix as well. Sometimes an exotic will catch my eye, so red gum eucalyptus, olive, and avocado have their place here at Big Littlewood.
